Factory Functionality
From the factory, the 12V power outlet switches off almost immediately after the ignition is turned off.
This programmer extends that timeout to 30 minutes, allowing your 12V accessories to continue receiving power after you've left the vehicle.
This feature only applies to the 12V power outlets and does not affect USB ports. The vehicle's Battery Management System (BMS) will continue to protect the battery by shutting the system down if the battery voltage becomes too low.

Does this keep my USB ports powered?
No. This feature only changes the timeout for the 12V power outlets. USB ports continue to operate as designed by Ford.
Will this flatten my battery?
No. Your vehicle's Battery Management System (BMS) continues to monitor battery voltage and will shut the system down if the battery state of charge becomes too low, helping to protect your battery.
Does the programmer stay plugged in?
No. Once the LED turns solid green, unplug the programmer and store it safely. The programming remains permanently written to your vehicle.
Can I restore the factory settings?
Yes. Plug the programmer back into the same vehicle and it will automatically restore your original factory configuration.
Can I use the programmer on another vehicle?
No. Each OBD Programmer automatically locks to the first compatible vehicle it programs and cannot be transferred to another vehicle.
