Prefer driving with Lane Assist switched off?
The Lane Assist Remember Last Setting Programmer changes the factory Lane Assist behaviour so your Volkswagen Amarok NF remembers your last selected Lane Assist setting, rather than requiring you to turn it off again every time you restart the vehicle.
Remembers Your Last Lane Assist Setting
Once programmed, your Amarok remembers whether you last had Lane Assist ON or OFF between ignition cycles.
If you switch Lane Assist OFF, turn the vehicle off and start it again, your previous setting is retained.
If you decide you want Lane Assist back ON, simply turn it on using the vehicle's factory controls. The Lane Assist system itself remains fully functional. The programmer simply changes the vehicle to remember your last selected setting.
There are no additional switches, wiring or aftermarket modules required.
Plug & Play Programming

Turn the ignition ON.

Plug the OBD Programmer into the vehicle's OBD-II port.

The programmer backs up your vehicle's current configuration, identifies the required configuration and begins programming.

Wait for the LED to turn solid green.

Remove the programmer.
During programming, the instrument cluster and infotainment system may restart. This is completely normal. Do not unplug the OBD Programmer or switch the ignition off while programming is in progress.
Factory Roller Shutter Reset
If you have an Amarok Aventura or PanAmericana delivered with a factory roller shutter, you will need to reset the roller shutter after programming.

With the roller shutter fully open, press and hold the button until the roller shutter reaches half open.

Press and hold the button until the roller shutter reaches fully open. Continue pressing the button for at least 4 seconds.

Release the button.

Within 10 seconds of releasing the button, press and hold the button until the roller shutter fully closes. Continue pressing the button for at least 4 seconds.

If the roller shutter does not open when you press the button, repeat the procedure.
Restore Back to Factory Anytime
During the first programming session, the OBD Programmer securely stores the vehicle's original factory configuration, allowing the vehicle to be restored back to its original settings at any time by plugging the programmer back into the same vehicle.
