Automatically Lock Your Doors When You Drive
Add the factory Auto Lock functionality to your Volkswagen Amarok NF.
The Auto Lock Programmer enables your Amarok to automatically lock all doors once you reach approximately 20 km/h, so you don't need to manually lock your doors every time you drive.
Once programmed, a new Auto Lock option is added to your infotainment system, allowing you to easily turn the feature on or off whenever you choose.
Automatic Door Locking at 20 km/h
With Auto Lock enabled, your Amarok automatically locks all doors once you reach approximately 20 km/h.
Simply start your vehicle and drive as normal. Once the required speed is reached, the doors automatically lock.
Control Auto Lock Through Your Infotainment System
Once programmed, Auto Lock can be enabled or disabled directly through your Amarok's infotainment screen.
This means you're not permanently locked into using the feature. If you decide you don't want Auto Lock active, simply switch it OFF through the vehicle settings and turn it back ON whenever you want.
Plug & Play Programming

Turn the ignition ON.

Plug the OBD Programmer into the vehicle's OBD-II port.

The programmer backs up your vehicle's current configuration, identifies the required configuration and begins programming.

Wait for the LED to turn solid green.

Remove the programmer.
During programming, the instrument cluster and infotainment system may restart. This is completely normal. Do not unplug the OBD Programmer or switch the ignition off while programming is in progress.
Factory Roller Shutter Reset
If you have an Amarok Aventura or PanAmericana delivered with a factory roller shutter, you will need to reset the roller shutter after programming.

With the roller shutter fully open, press and hold the button until the roller shutter reaches half open.

Press and hold the button until the roller shutter reaches fully open. Continue pressing the button for at least 4 seconds.

Release the button.

Within 10 seconds of releasing the button, press and hold the button until the roller shutter fully closes. Continue pressing the button for at least 4 seconds.

If the roller shutter does not open when you press the button, repeat the procedure.
Restore Back to Factory Anytime
During the first programming session, the OBD Programmer securely stores the vehicle's original factory configuration, allowing the vehicle to be restored back to its original settings at any time by plugging the programmer back into the same vehicle.
