Replacing your tyre pressure sensor? Rotated your wheels? Installed a new set of rims?

Our Ford TPMS Tyre Sensor Reset Tool makes relearning your TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) sensors quick and easy, without the need for a trip to the dealership.

Designed for Ford owners and workshops alike, this simple handheld tool activates each TPMS sensor during the vehicle's relearn procedure, allowing your Ranger, Raptor or Everest to recognise each tyre sensor correctly.

2022+ NextGen Ford Ranger TPMS Sensor Relearn Procedure

If you've replaced a TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) sensor on your 2024 Ford Ranger, you'll need to perform a TPMS relearn so the vehicle can recognise the new sensor. This requires a compatible TPMS activation tool.

Before You Begin

  • Inflate all four tyres to the recommended pressures listed on the driver's door jamb.

  • Apply the parking brake.

Step 1: Enter TPMS Learn Mode

  1. Turn the ignition to the RUN position (do not start the engine).

  2. Press and release the brake pedal.

  3. Cycle the ignition from OFF to RUN three times, finishing in the RUN position.

  4. Press and release the brake pedal again.

  5. Turn the ignition OFF.

  6. Cycle the ignition from OFF to RUN three more times, finishing in the RUN position.

If successful, the horn will sound once and the instrument cluster will display:

TRAIN FRONT LEFT TIRE

This indicates the vehicle has entered TPMS learn mode.

Step 2: Program Each TPMS Sensor

Using your TPMS activation tool, trigger each sensor in the following order:

  1. Front Left

  2. Front Right

  3. Rear Right

  4. Rear Left

After each sensor is successfully recognised, the horn will chirp once, confirming it has been programmed. Continue to the next tyre until all four sensors have been learned.

Step 3: Finish the Relearn

After the final (rear-left) sensor has been programmed:

  • The horn will sound one final time.

  • The instrument cluster will display TRAINING COMPLETE.

Turn the ignition OFF, then restart the vehicle. Confirm that the TPMS warning light is no longer illuminated.

Note: If the horn does not sound when entering learn mode, or a sensor is not recognised, restart the procedure from the beginning and ensure your TPMS tool is compatible with the 2024 Ford Ranger.
