OBD Programmer Kit 1 - Volkswagen Amarok NF 2023+
Four Popular Factory Upgrades in One Programmer
Unlock some of the most useful factory features for your Volkswagen Amarok NF with OBD Programmer Kit 1.
Kit 1 combines four popular programming upgrades into a single OBD Programmer, giving you additional factory drive modes, Lane Assist memory, automatic door locking and the ability to eliminate the factory door-open chime.
No laptop. No coding. No complicated software, wiring or permanent aftermarket modules required.
What's Included in Kit 1?
Additional Drive Modes
Unlocks additional factory drive modes supported by your Amarok. The programmer automatically detects your vehicle's existing configuration and enables the applicable missing factory drive modes, including Sport, Rock Crawl, Mud/Ruts, Sand and Tow/Haul where supported.
Once programmed, the additional drive modes can be accessed and selected directly through your Amarok's infotainment system, integrating alongside the vehicle's existing factory drive modes.
Lane Assist - Remember Last Setting
Changes the factory Lane Assist behaviour so your Amarok remembers your last selected setting between ignition cycles. If you switch Lane Assist OFF, it stays OFF the next time you start the vehicle.
You can still turn Lane Assist back ON whenever you want using the vehicle's factory controls.
Auto Lock at 20 km/h
Enables the factory Auto Lock functionality, automatically locking all doors once your Amarok reaches approximately 20 km/h.
A menu option is also enabled within your Amarok's infotainment system, allowing you to turn Auto Lock ON or OFF whenever you choose.
Door Open Chime Eliminator
Disables the repetitive factory door-open warning chime, ideal when camping, cleaning your Amarok, working around the vehicle or simply sitting with the doors open for extended periods.
One Programmer. Multiple Factory Upgrades.
The OBD Programmer automatically identifies your Amarok and its current factory configuration, then applies the supported Kit 1 features required for your particular vehicle.
There's no need to select individual configurations, use a laptop or manually code your vehicle. Simply plug in the programmer and let it do the work.
Plug & Play Programming
-
Turn the ignition ON.
-
Plug the OBD Programmer into the vehicle's OBD-II port.
-
The programmer backs up your vehicle's current configuration, identifies the required configuration and begins programming.
-
Wait for the LED to turn solid green.
-
Remove the programmer.
During programming, the instrument cluster and infotainment system may restart. This is completely normal. Do not unplug the OBD Programmer or switch the ignition off while programming is in progress.
Factory Roller Shutter Reset
If you have an Amarok Aventura or PanAmericana delivered with a factory roller shutter, you will need to reset the roller shutter after programming.
-
With the roller shutter fully open, press and hold the button until the roller shutter reaches half open.
-
Press and hold the button until the roller shutter reaches fully open. Continue pressing the button for at least 4 seconds.
-
Release the button.
-
Within 10 seconds of releasing the button, press and hold the button until the roller shutter fully closes. Continue pressing the button for at least 4 seconds.
-
If the roller shutter does not open when you press the button, repeat the procedure.
Restore Back to Factory Anytime
During the first programming session, the OBD Programmer securely stores the vehicle's original factory configuration, allowing the vehicle to be restored back to its original settings at any time by plugging the programmer back into the same vehicle.
